The present age has witnessed amazing developments in various fields of electronics and a rapid increase in its industrial application. Career opportunities in electronics continue to expand and are varied year by year for which the students should be equipped and competent enough. Electronics department in Kristu Jayanti strives towards making this happen.

The department focuses students of both Under Graduate and Post Graduate streams. This includes BSc batches those have electronics as their elective paper (CSME) and BCA class which also have two papers, Digital Electronics and Microprocessors, as per the university prescription. In the post graduate level for the MCA program the same papers are dealt in a more qualitative manner.

The Electronics lab in our college is well designed with a dynamic infrastructure. It is equipped with surplus number of experimental kits and measuring devices like 8085 trainer kits with five interface modules, Microcontroller Programmer kit, Digital Trainer Kits with microprocessor connectivity, Oscilloscopes, Signal generators etc. Each student is individually privileged to work on their respective module which ensures complete and undivided attention and completion of their projects and practicals. This ensures incomparable excellence for every student in the subject.

A unique system of surveillance is mastered by the department by which the faculty has an eagle-eye over the progress of the students. Projects and assignments in addition to the ones charted out by the university are taken up by the students which make them competent to meet the challenges posed during the inter-collegiate fests conducted in various colleges. The digital trainer kits with processor connectivity which was designed and developed in our lab by the students of BSc Electronics is used for the practical classes of BCA and MCA batches which drew appreciation from all.
