Training Methodology

Our training methodology aims to equip young minds with a global outlook to face the challenges of tomorrow and at the same time ensure that they are guided by a set of values and beliefs that reflect the Indian ethos. The management, staff and the very atmosphere itself are geared to attain this goal. This is achieved through an all-round development of the intellectual, social, physical and spiritual spheres of life. The innovative education methodology adopted by the college assists the students in developing independent thinking, creative outlook and a balanced point of view. In addition to regular lectures by the faculty members, special lectures are being conducted to develop the overall personality of the students. During the three year programme, students are trained to meet the ever-changing needs of a swiftly progressing global environment.

Attendance Policy

Attendance is compulsory for all classes. Any absence must be approved by the concerned faculty member. Students are expected to be punctual for classes, and latecomers will not be admitted to the class. 90 % attendance is compulsory to appear for semester examinations.

Continuous Evaluation

The College will practice a continuous evaluation system to monitor performance and provide feedback to the students for frequent and regular correction. The evaluation will be done on the basis of class participation, quizzes, home assignments, written examinations, term papers and course projects. There will be a viva voce in each semester, which includes the topics covered in the semester and also a module on current affairs.

Training beyond Curriculum

Formal classroom sessions are supplemented with frequent guest lectures by experts from industrial and academic fields. To give a more professional touch to the training programme, frequent seminars, workshops and panel discussions are arranged on various themes such as yoga and meditation, contemporary development in computer technology, group dynamics, human relations and team-work, leadership and managerial skills, presentation skills, interviews and group discussions, business manners and etiquette, etc.

Personal Guidance & Counselling

Each student is assigned to a faculty member for personal guidance and mentoring. The students are expected to meet their mentors at least once a month and brief them about progress made in the management training programme, and seek guidance from the study guide.
