PTA meeting is a regular phenomenon in Kristu Jayanti College. College maintains a good relationship with parents in giving formation to their wards. Feedback from parents is considered as a right input to fine tune the entire academic process in college.
FREQUENCY
Once in a semester.
Twice in an academic year
Usually immediately after the First Term Examination.
OBJECTIVES
Reason: To analyze student performance in Term examination
To analyze student attendance in the first half of the semester and
to take necessary measures for improvement.
WORKOUT
Date for PTA meeting decided three weeks before the meeting.
Invitation letters for parents are send by post 2 weeks before the meeting.
Usually Saturday afternoon (between 02:30 PM and 05:00 PM) is preferred for the convenience of the parents.
Students can also accompany the parents for the informal session.
Marks and attendance reports are displayed in the class notice boards one week before the PTA meeting and discrepancies rectified.
Individual students marks and attendance report is submitted to the parents during the PTA meeting.
For students whose parents do not report for the PTA meeting the student marks and attendance report is being handed over to the students themselves by the respective class teachers.

Controller of Examination Briefs about academic progress
Literary and Cultural Staff Coordinator Briefs about student support
activities and achievements during the current semester
Interactive session with parents
(During formal session attendance and feedback from parents is taken)
2. TEA BREAK
3. INFORMAL SESSION (INDIVIDUAL FEEDBACK WITH CLASS &
SUBJECT TEACHERS)
All staff members of the respective department will be available in the respective venue for the individual feedback. Students can also accompany the parents for the same.
Full time and part time counseling members are also available during the
PTA meeting.
