Faculty Development Program

The college considers its human resource as a capital investment which needs to be continuously augmented through sustained training and capacity building to perform multiple tasks. Faculty improvement is facilitated through the following:

• In –house Faculty Development Programmes
• Department level programmes
• Participation in FDPs / conferences / seminars outside the institution
• Reimbursement of registration fee, traveling expenses, boarding and lodging
• Sanctioning duty leave

It is also an institutional practice to conduct at least one national seminar annually. These seminars are usually of inter-disciplinary character and enable participation from the faculty of different disciplines.

To enhance the qualitative skills of the faculty, regular orientations, workshops and seminars are held. This kind of sessions enriches the faculty and also acts as stress busters. Special efforts are taken to broaden their perspectives with regard to the changing scenario and to be competent in our respective fields.
